How does Senguard™ work?
The Senguard™ treatment, unlike sealers, allow the granite to breathe as it penetrates, remaining in the stone structure, preserving its natural color and structure, while permeating against liquid penetration.
Senguard™ is a protective agent on a small molecular level that penetrates the stone’s porous surface to forma a chemical bond. This protective agent changes the surface tension of the stone, creating a resistance to liquids and providing durable and long-lasting stain protection.
What is the difference between Senguard™ treatment and other sealers?
Common granite sealers contain large molecular weight agents that create a mechanical bond that protects granite by blocking or sealing the porosity of the stone, without allowing it to breathe and reducing the resilience of the sealer. These types of sealers maintain a weaker bond that is easy to break down with the use of common household cleaners.
